This Piece is probably the best piece that I have ever done. I wanted to improve my color style so I decided to use this contest as a way to do so.
When I decided to enter the contest I knew that I wanted to do something "different". I wanted to show that good vs. evil isn't always so black and white. I wanted to do something funny but at the same time make the viewer think "yeah I've been there". I'm not saying law or calling anyone evil, all I'm saying is this is an everyday situation of good vs evil - the sinful and the innocent.
One of my main goals for this piece was to achieve a new coloring style in photoshop and without a doubt I will say mission accomplished. I spent about 2 hours coming up with the concept, 6-7 hours drawing it out, and 2-3 hours inking. A week of practice painting with photoshop and a tablet and another week of on and off coloring to get the final version.
Special thanx to my friends Asia and Issac for teaching me how to paint instead of just laying down colors.

Wish me luck, and good luck to all of the other entrants! If you like it, Pop me a Fav!!
Dude it's great to see this whole piece come together. I love the clors you chose. Subtle, not too over-the-top. I see that you stuck with your plan for the lines and it worked out great in the end. I love the panel breaks, too. Great composition!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
